Kayaking at Bor Thor

Staff members Kerry and Cassie-Mae took the lead taking Expedition Members on an amazing local kayaking trip. The trip departs from Bor Thor pier. EMs paddled through a mangrove channel where locals raise snapper and collect mussels. Passing through Tham Lawt ('Tube Cave') complete with a rock formation that resembles a mermaid, the channel leads to a hidden lagoon. A final visit to Tham Pee Hua Tow ('Big Headed Ghost Cave') allows a wander through the a limestone cave filled with ancient cave paintings.

The trip finished off with lunch at the Bor Thor Seafood restaurant where EMs had the opportunity to sample some of the fresh local cuisine. All in all it was a great outing!
