GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

Thursday Night Party: 80s Night!

This Thursday night's party was in celebration of not only the end of another week of teaching and TEFL training. It was also a chance to get down and say thanks for the greatest decade of all times (when it comes to dance parties that is): The 80s!!!

Everyone on the Ao Luk base went all out. And although they hadn't all come prepared with neon leg warmers and sweatbands they were able to improvise quite well with what was available.
