English Camp at the National Park

The Non-Formal Education Centers from Plai Praya and Nuea Klong (2 other districts in Krabi) requested the assistance of GVI's teachers for the English portion of a Conservation and English camp at Than Bok Koranee National Park. The students took part in a 4 day camp and GVI joined them for a day of English fun and games.

The morning shift led a series of activities about number and times, personal information, clothing, and foods in which the students rotated in groups to participate in all the stations. After a leisurely lunch there was a big A-Z Scavenger Hunt in which groups of students searched through the park for objects that began with different letters of the alphabet.

After another short snack break the students rotated through 3 more fun activities; Ping Pong Spelling, Words in a Song and Directions Relay.

At the end of the day everyone gathered together for pictures and goodbye and GVI was presented with several thank you gifts from both of the schools.
