Thai Cooking Workshop
On Saturday Expedition Members had the opportunity to learn to cook some home made Thai dishes alongside a local woman named Moo. Led by Moo they learned to make Phad Thai (stir-fried noodles), Lap Moo (a spicy minced pork salad), and Penang Curry (a spicy red curry) prepared with soy protein instead of meat for the vegetarians to enjoy.
Over the course of the 5 weeks there will be more Thai cooking workshops so that all have the opportunity to learn to cook selected Thai dishes.
