NFE Opening Ceremony in Klong Ya
Thursday was as opening ceremony for yet another satellite center for GVI's partners, the Ao Luk Non Formal and Informal Education Center in the Sub District of Klong Ya. GVI Thailand representatives went along to host a GVI booth featuring English puzzles and face painting. Several local schools came out to join the festivities. Other activities included making fresh donuts and curry puffs, making flowers from leaves and creating picture frames.
The face painting was a hit as always and some of the students even tried their hand at painting some of GVI's volunteer teachers!
