Bye to Emily!

On Saturday we bid farewell to staff member, Emily, with a lunch in her honor. Emily began with a GVI as a 10 week TEFL volunteer back in 2008. Since that time she has gone on to be a teacher in the community, an intern on base, base manager and finally projects manager. She has been a great representative of GVI and will be greatly missed.

Several members of the community came out to join GVI in saying goodbye to Emily. After a leisurely lunch on the river the group paid a visit to Dusit's catfish and crab farm. It was a nice, relaxing afternoon overall.

Thanks for all your hard work, Emily! We wish you luck with future endeavors.
