Village Project: Ban Bakan School
This Friday's village project took place at Ban Bakan School in the Bakan village of the Ao Luk Noi Sub district. Since the school is particularly large (over 300 students!) the GVI team worked specifically with 140 of the students in 4th-6th grade and 8th grade. Divided into 6 groups the GVI teachers led activities about colors, animals, classroom objects, fruits, numbers, and litter and recycling. Following the activities everyone enjoyed a nice lunch in the school cafeteria before heading back to base.
