GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

Thursday Night Party: Michael Jackson Tribute

After a long first week of teaching and training, the first Thursday night party for the new batch of volunteers was in dedication to Michael Jackson. Everyone dressed up in honor of MJ, some as the performer himself while others represented their favorite Michael song. Everyone had a great time dancing to Michael Jackson's greatest hits late into the night.
