Beach Clean-Up at Ao Naam
Due to the Buddhist Lent our Teaching Children volunteers enjoyed a long 5 day weekend. Together they enjoyed an relaxing island adventure before returning back to the GVI base in Ao Luk. On Wednesday they organized a beach clean-up in Ao Naam, close to one of the schools that 2 of the volunteers teach at. Ao Naam is a beautiful piece of coastal land in the Laem Sak sub district. Highlights are the beach, mountains, caves, mangroves and pristine views provided. Unfortunately, the beach also collects a lot of litter from the sea. Volunteers were moved by the beauty of the land to organize a clean-up. ![](https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJM5mv10glKUOVUx_A8Xhkw7puhoZyaH7O5PTUjXFI00QVCrUPhwJQLK08a6ikIr9hASIlX0OfH4fmibAAX6NgT9Vh2cK6m4ytjzqwbFpo0Wpcl1D47_YLnbmSxtVQqYtgmE_Bea_5a64/s320/100_2596.JPG)
Volunteers spent much of the morning picking up loads of litter from the beach. Afterwards they enjoyed a picnic lunch and had some time to wander and explore the area, one of Ao Luk's best kept secrets.

Is there a ghost in this picture, or has an old intern returned to Ao Luk?!
Second question: did he wet himself?
