GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

Renovation Project: Kayaking!

An early start this morning had us out in Bor Thor just after 8am but boy, was it worth it. The morning sun and quiet canals made for a great morning exploring the caves and mangroves.

In his typical fashion, Man, our guide, provided colorful commentary along the way. We even got so lucky as to see two monitor lizards as well as kingfishers and eagles.

We ended the day with an amazing lunch at Bor Thor Seafood. A little exercise, a lot of food, all in beautiful surroundings – I'd say it's not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning.
