First Day of School
Five of GVI's Thailand's newest volunteers started school today! Four from the the Volunteer with Children project and one from the new Childcare Internship project started their adventures in the local primary schools. This term GVI's volunteers are working with 5 primary schools in the local area to offer English lessons for pre-school through 6 grade students.
GVI's teaching style focuses on student centered, active learning which means students gain English skills through games, songs and other activities that help them retain the language being taught.
