First Volunteer Arrivals for 2011!
The 8th of January marked the beginning of the first volunteer projects of 2011. 10 new volunteers joined the GVI team in Ao Luk, Thailand coming from as far as the UK, Ireland, Australia, Germany, Holland and New Zealand. 8 volunteers came out to do the GVI TEFL course while 2 others are preparing to teach English for children in the local Ao Luk schools. This first weekend volunteers will be busy learning important information about teaching and training, health and safety and culture and customs of Thailand. We wish them all the best of luck with their new venture and hope they all have an amazing time in Ao Luk! Stay tuned for more news in upcoming weeks.
