New class for Laem Sak fishing community
Some of GVI's interns began a new class teaching English to the fishing community of Laem Sak, one of Ao Luk's coastal sub districts. The class is organized through GVI's newest partners, the Ao Luk Community Based Tourism Network. The focus of the class is to provide those working on the seas of Laem Sak with the skills to serve as boat drivers and guides for English speaking tourists visiting the area. Interns will be teaching basic English language including small talk, question and answer and giving directions.
About 10 students came out for the first English class on Monday evening. GVI is very excited to continue to provide English assistance for the local community.
