Library Days

Volunteers spent their evenings at the library this week doing activities with primary school students. In an effort to promote literacy in Ao Luk, the librarians asked GVI to organize these days and invited students from the nearby primary school. Activities focused on topics including greetings, fruit, animals and body parts. Each of the activity days incorporated songs as well as a writing activity and even gave the students a chance to get creative, drawing and coloring pictures of their newly learned vocabulary.
