Goodbyes
On Thursday we bid a sad farewell to 8 Expedition Members. 4 more Newly Qualified Teachers will remain on to welcome the new arrivals on Friday and go on to teach their own classes in the Ao Luk community.
This particular group left behind their own legacy in the form of an amazing mural in the input area, mostly compliments of Jo! Jo will be heading on to India and Nepal as part of GVI's Asian Explorer Program so we hope to hear more from her in the future.
The previous days were filled wrapping things up and last minute parties. Wednesday night there was a big BBQ with chicken, hot dogs, beef, salad, cole slaw, potatoes, and french fries in honor of the end of successful 5 weeks.
