GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

Goodbye Peter Party

On Friday we will bid farewell to one EM that came out for 2 weeks to do his 50-hour TEFL qualification. The usual Thursday night party was in honor of Peter and many students came to join in seeing him off. Since the party was dedicated to Peter, everyone else had to dress like Peter and Peter had to wear a dress!
