End of Term 9!!!

Yet another term has come to an end for GVI's free English classes for the local community in Ao Luk. Expedition Members evaluated students to find out how much they had gained from the classes they attended. For those that seemed to be able to process and understand the language taught in the class and use it effectively they were moved up to the next level. For those that still struggle with the new language they are allowed to repeat the level until they gain the skills necessary.

All students who attended at least 85% of the classes (13 or more out of 16 classes) recieved a certificate of completion for 20 or more hours of English in the level they studied. In total 78 certificates were awarded, signed by their teachers, the Director of the Non-Formal Education Centre, and the GVI Thailand Country Director.
