GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

New Volunteers!

On Saturday 9 new volunteers joined the GVI teaching internship and TEFL projects coming from the US, UK, Ireland, South Africa and Australia. The weekend was chock full of presentations, orientations and training including important information about Health and Safety and the GVI TEFL qualification. We wish all our new volunteers the best of luck in the upcoming weeks and hope they enjoy the teaching, their students and the community!
