English Summer Camp Party at the Library

Thursday was the last day of GVI's English summer camp for primary schools students at the Ao Luk Library. 1 November marks the first day of school for the new term after a month long holiday. Several students have been coming out to the library 4 mornings a week to participate in English activities and games with some of GVI's interns and staff. Everyone has had a wonderful time. Although some rainy days forced the groups to move into the library, a number of clear days allowed students and teachers to enjoy the library's outdoor classroom. The final day of camp was one of these outdoor days!

For the last day of camp GVI teachers planned a party for the students to celebrate. They played some games, sang some songs, painted some faces, made friendship bracelets and enjoyed snacks and drinks.

Although the camp is finishing, GVI will still be working with a number of these students at local schools in the upcoming weeks.
