GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

End of Term 25 Party at the GVI base

Friday night was yet another party at the GVI base in Ao Luk. 4 100 hour TEFL certificates were awarded to volunteers completing their teacher training. 1 30 hour BTEC leadership certificate was awarded to a short term community development intern teaching at local schools. Students and members of the community came to celebrate the end of another term with GVI volunteers and staff. Everyone enjoyed the food, drinks and karaoke!
