Term 12 Begins!
Today we began the 12 term of free English classes for the local community at the Non-Formal Education Centre. At 5:00 PM 4 classes Levels 1-4, followed by 6 classes at 7:00 PM, Levels 1-6. Despite heavy rains, 72 students showed up for the first day of classes. Several students showed up on motorbikes without an umbrella or raincoat, completely drenched to the bone. Their dedication to studying English always amazes us, reminding us just how much the classes mean to the local community. We hope to see those numbers rise as the weather clears up.
