GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

New Arrivals!

Today begins yet another Teaching Expedition in Ao Luk, Thailand. 10 new Expedition Members joined the GVI Team from England, Canada, USA and Australia. They are all enthusiastic and ready to delve into teaching and community projects in Ao Luk. They began the expedition with 3 days of orientation including important Health and Safety information, cooking workshops, and introductions to GVI in Thailand and the TEFL program itself.
