English Summer Camp at the Ao Luk Library

Some of GVI's interns and staff having been working together to teach a English summer camp for primary students at the Ao Luk Library. The Ao Luk Library is part of the Ao Luk Non-Formal Education Center, one of GVI Thailand's main project partners. As the month of October is a school holiday GVI has provided an opportunity for some local primary school students to come out and learn English in a fun and interactive informal environment. Due to the rain the first week, the camp was held inside the library but as the weather has cleared up the camp has moved outdoors. Each day is set with a certain English topic such as colors, animals or foods and students are involved in activities, games, songs and crafts having to do with that topic. This is just another way in which GVI Thailand is able to help meet the demand for English classes in the local community.
