Village Project at Sahakorn Nikom Ao Luk 3

On Friday, six GVI teachers travelled to Sahakorn Nikom Ao Luk 3 for one of our weekly village projects. The torrential downpour didn't stop our GVI teachers, and when we arrived the 26 school children were thrilled to see us and greeted our teachers with cheers of glee.

Our teachers taught a variety of basic vocabulary to the kids over three 20 minute rotations, using fun activities to practice and reinforce the English learnt. Each class had a lot of fun, after learning the parts of the body, the children enjoyed sticking labels onto the GVI teacher's body. "Go get it!" made a fun and energetic run and fetch game for colors, and the Animal vocab was practiced in an enthusiastic game of charades. All the kids then came together to learn about the environment and recycling with Jack and Noi.

After everyone was thoroughly worn out we enjoyed a picnic lunch with the children and headed back to base as the sun started to make a longed for reappearance!
