End of Term Party!
Friday was the end of term party celebrating the end of GVI's 22 nd term of free English classes in the Ao Luk community. A number of students and members of the community joined the party bearing delicious dishes of Thai treats such as papaya salad, spicy curries, shrimp cakes and noodles. 8 volunteers received their 100 hour TEFL certificate.
The party was close to St Patrick's Day so everyone was invited to wear green and drink green Fanta. GVI Thailand's Thai Staff member, Jack, performed a concert with his band "Wong Lep" playing Thai rock and folk songs. This was a particularly special treat which volunteers and the community enjoyed.
