English Summer Camp at the Library!

Today was the final day of English Camp and we celebrated with a party! For the past six weeks GVI Ao Luk, in partnership with the Non-Formal Education center, has held a summer camp for local primary school students. We met every morning, Monday through Thursday, at the public garden of Ao Luk’s library.

Over the six weeks, students learned a wide range of English vocabulary including: colors, shapes, numbers, food, sports, and time just to name a few. It was a light hearted few weeks with a nice mix of studying, games and a lot of fun! We had around 30 students on any given day ranging in age from 5 to 12 years old.

For our end of term party, we had plenty of activities planned including twister, face painting, paper airplanes, and making maracas, which we used for a end of party sing-off!
