Market Breakfast


Friday's cooking group decided that instead of cooking breakfast and dirtying up the kitchen everyone should head to the southern market for a traditional Thai breakfast. Everyone got up early and made the 15 minute trek down to one of the town's morning markets. While some opted for tamer options like sweets made from coconut and sticky rice, Chinese style donuts and soy milk, others went all out and had rice noodles with spicy curry topped with pickled vegetables. What a great way to start the day! Everyone chatted and took their time over breakfast before walking back to base to start their day's work.
