On Friday, 27th April 2012 an epic battle will take place; a battle the like of which has never been seen before (except maybe in a UK TV show from the 1980s), testing the intellectual prowess and physical endurance of the teams to their very limit.
Set against the dramatic and historic backdrop of the limestone caves of Ao Luk, teams will be faced with mind-bending puzzles in the hot and humid mangroves as they race against each other, kayaking for honour and for glory (and maybe for a little prize too...).
"Why?!" I hear you ask, "Why face such dangers and hardships?" We're raising money to provide English language training for Thai teachers. Many English teachers in Thailand have no formal language training and some speak very little English themselves. We aim to improve the quality of English teaching in Ao Luk district by holding workshops with local teachers to provide them with skills and training which will help them in the classroom.
