GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

Welcome Charlie!

GVI Ao Luk would like to give a big welcome to our new Project Manager, Charlie Crowson. Charlie has several years of experience teaching, both in Thailand and the UK and previous experience managing volunteer teaching and building projects throughout Thailand. He can speak Thai and loves opportunities to explore and learn more about Thai culture and community. We are very pleased to have him aboard!
