GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

New Teaching Children Volunteers Arrive

Five new volunteers from Sweden joined the GVI team to help teach children at local schools. They will spend 2 weeks teaching English at Chumchom Ao Luk Nuea, a large primary school at Ao Luk's main junction. They have chose an excellent time to visit as the King's birthday celebration has set a festive atmosphere over the little town of Ao Luk.
