Intern Placement in Laem Sak
One of GVI's interns, Dan has just began a 10 week placement in the coastal fishing community of Laem Sak in Ao Luk. Laem Sak is one of the villages involved with the Ao Luk Community Based Tourism Network, one of GVI Thailand's local partners. Dan is assisting the local community by offering free English language lessons to the local community. During the day he is teaching students at newly opened local school. In the evenings he teaches classes for the community at the CBT office in town. Here are some pictures from a recent visit to the school!
