GVI Thailand's Teaching Children volunteers have worked with 22 primary and secondary schools in the Ao Luk district, providing them with English lessons, activities and assistance for approximately 9,982 students
Over 6,200 hours of English class time for adult students
1,850 certificates awarded to community members for attending GVI's free English classes
305 Teaching and Renovation volunteers providing assistance to local communities
228 TEFL Certificates awarded to volunteer English teachers
English language teachers provided for 28 different schools in Ao Luk

Last Day of Classes

Today marked the end of the 20th term of classes for GVI's free English program for the Ao Luk Community. Students came out for a final night of evaluations before taking a break until 2010. Certificates were awarded to 56 students who attended at least 85% of the classes.
