EFR Training
On Saturday Expedition Members took place in an on-site Emergency First Response Training. The training led by GVI staff members provides a comprehensive look at Primary and Secondary Care in the case of emergency situations. This course is specific for those joining the GVI expedition in Ao Luk and deals with getting help, even in a foreign environment.
EMs had the opportunity to practice CPR, bandaging, and splinting and ran through a number of scenarios to give them practice with the steps to dealing with an emergency situation.
