Goodbye Anita
The end of this expedition also marked the end of a staff era. We said goodbye to our TEFL Trainer, Anita Russell, who has put in a good year and a couple of months teaching and training with GVI in Ao Luk. Anita will be returning to Australia to finish up her Masters Degree in Environmental Management. We wish her the best of luck!
Anita's last few days were spent in style. Besides the usual end of term parties, BBQ and goodbyes lots of local students and friends cooked for Anita, took her out to yummy dinners, brought her gifts, and saw her off from Ao Luk in the warm way Thai people are famous for. Anita will be greatly missed by the GVI team as well as the community of Ao Luk.
Thank you for all your hard work!
